Study shows cancer survivors experience more frequent and severe menopausal hot flashes than women with menopausal symptoms but no history of cancer
According to a study of questionnaires completed by 934 cancer survivors and 155 women without cancer, researchers discovered that although cancer survivors suffer menopausal hot flashes that are more frequent and severe, they do better psychologically and report a better quality of life compared with women without cancer.
The study is published online in Menopause.
