Many Patients Still Smoke After Lung Cancer Diagnosis

A study by the National Cancer Institute reports that approximately 1 in 5 patients with lung cancer continue to smoke after diagnosis. The authors say more needs to be done to counsel these patients on how and why to quit smoking.
